Inaugural Mentorship Conference

The 2019 Inaugural Mentorship Conference features Ted Talk style presentations on the topic of mentorship by industry-leading professionals, followed by a panel discussion and career fair. Given the enormity and importance of mentorship, this event is designed for young adults from college students to young professionals striving for impactful success. The objective of the 2019 Inaugural Mentorship Conference is to shed light into the reason why mentorship is critical for success. Our goal is for each conference attendee to leave with the inspiration and determination to find and keep mentors throughout their professional journey. Educate4Humanity’s vision is for every young adult to have the supportive relationships they need to reach their potential and thrive professionally. Our mission is to accomplish this by raising awareness of the value of mentorship while bridging the gap between mentors and mentees.

Event Includes: 

  1. $500 scholarship to a conference attendee

  2. Opportunity to learn about the value of mentorship

  3. Opportunity to interact with employers looking specifically for STEM graduates 

  4. Free professional head shots

  5. Listing of all employer contacts and job openings 

  6. Resume upload for employers to view prior to the event to maximize visibility

  7. Each conference attendee will receive a copy of the Mentorship Yearbook which contains 2019 scholarship and grant opportunities as well as inspirational stories about the value of mentorship from professionals along with their contact information so mentees can contact potential mentors directly. 

For scholarship entry please send an essay of no more than 500 words about the impact a mentor has made during your professional journey to along with the subject line "Conference Scholarship Entry". You must be at the conference to win the scholarship. The winner will be announced during the conference and deliver the winning essay.
